Returns Policy

How do I return an item? 

If you need to return any item, please contact us either via email at hello@starrynightmattresses.com or you can speak to one of our team on 0333 577 5446. We’re available Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. 

Please note, unless faulty, damaged, missing or otherwise not in accordance with specification, for health and hygiene reasons we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on any items unless they are returned unused and in their original packaging. 

If you wish to exchange a mattress under our 100-night comfort guarantee, please email or call us.   

Comfort Guarantee Terms & Conditions 

Our 100-Night Comfort Guarantee applies to all our mattresses. If between 30 and 100 nights from delivery you let us know your mattress isn’t comfortable, we will exchange it for a different mattress as long as the following terms are adhered to. 

If you choose a more expensive mattress, any difference in price between the mattress you have, and the replacement mattress must be paid at the time of re-selection.  

If you select a less-expensive mattress, any difference in price will be returned to you in the form of credit against any future purchase from Starry Night.  

The Comfort Guarantee is subject to the following conditions: 

(a) We ask that you wait a minimum of 30 nights from the day of delivery as it can take this long for the fillings to settle and for your body to adjust to your new mattress 

(b) the mattress to be returned must be kept in perfect condition, so a mattress protector must be used. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if a mattress protector hasn’t been used or the product is marked/soiled or damaged. 

(c) a collection and re-delivery charge of £50 will be applied to each exchange.

UK consumers have statutory rights (i.e. rights protected by law) to return items that are faulty. There are also statutory rights to return certain goods purchased online, so called “cancellation rights”. These statutory rights are explained below.  

Please note that where applicable, all refunds will be made back to the original tender type.

Cancellation Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you buy goods from us online or by phone, your consumer rights mean you can cancel your order and obtain a full refund (if you request one) from the moment you place your order until 14 days from the day of delivery of the goods. 

When cancelling any order under these Regulations you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. 

We will refund the cost of the goods including any delivery charge you paid once the correct item(s) have been received by us.  Unless faulty, damaged, missing or otherwise not in accordance with specification, for health and hygiene reasons we are unable to offer refunds on any items unless they are returned unused and in their original packaging. Where the item has been manufactured specifically for the customer, and is not a stocked item, the manufacturer will charge a cancellation fee. This is usually 20% of the retail cost, subject to how far along the manufacturing process of the order has progressed.

While our delivery teams will happily deliver to the room of choice, it is subject to suitable access being available. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the item ordered will fit its intended destination. Any cancellation where delivery access is not possible will incur a cancellation charge of normally 20% of the purchase price. All product sizes are available on the product specification section of the respective product pages.

If you wish to cancel your order, please follow our returns procedure below. Where goods have been received, you must return the goods to us within 14 days of cancelling your order, unused and in original packaging. Your statutory rights in respect of faulty, damaged or missing items or goods which are not as described are not affected. 

Returning a faulty item

Starry Night only sells quality products, however if an item is damaged or faulty on delivery we will happily refund, repair or replace it.  

If a fault develops within 30 days of delivery, please contact us with proof of purchase and we’ll happily replace or refund it. 

After 30 days from delivery, we will repair or replace the faulty item on receipt of the item and proof of purchase. If a repair or replacement is not possible, you will receive a refund.  

Please note that we will only refund any delivery charge if the whole order is damaged or faulty.
